This 1911 Folk Victorian was lovingly purchased as a tribute to the owners’ deep connection to Fredericksburg—from childhood summers with their grandmother to their wedding in town.

Now a short-term rental and weekend retreat, the home received a thoughtful refresh, including updated kitchen finishes, new interior paint, and a curated blend of old and new furnishings. Through intentional color use, we unified existing and new elements into a warm, character-rich palette.

The owners are thrilled—with both the transformation and its return on investment—and have since invited us to design a new outdoor living space for gathering with friends.
